Field Survey Technologist

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day field survey activities at project sites and supervise Field Survey Assistants. Conduct diverse surveys (legal, topographic, right-of-ways, construction layout, as-built, engineering) using data collectors, robotic total stations, and GNSS; prepare clear field notes and sketches; ensure safety and adherence to standard procedures; maintain and organize survey data/equipment; collaborate with Project Manager/Land Surveyor and clients; assist in training and mentoring team members; leverage UAVs, laser scanning, and Trimble tools to support projects across BC, AB, and ON.
Required Qualifications
- Survey Technology Diploma
- 5+ years’ survey experience preferred
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather
- physically capable of lifting survey equipment
- effective written and verbal communication
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- experience with robotic total stations, GNSS solutions, and Trimble equipment
