Job Summary
Conduct vegetation management duties and perform general maintenance, inventory, and custodial tasks at utility-scale solar facilities. Operate a zero-turn mower, use hand tools and electrical machinery safely, and assist technicians with troubleshooting, repair, and component replacement. Maintain site equipment, facility tools, and parts inventory while tracking deliverables using a CMMS system and spreadsheets. Complete daily paperwork, attend meetings, and ensure all work follows established procedures, job hazard analyses, and safety protocols. Report unsafe conditions immediately and comply with company policies, NERC compliance, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school/GED General Education
- 1 year experience in a related maintenance position
- Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality -oriented attitude
- Uses electrical tools, hand tools and machinery, safely and efficiently
- Learns and uses SCADA and other software control systems
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions including high temperatures
- Functional competencies include teamwork, agility, attention to detail, customer focus and communication
- Domestic travel 5-15%
- Valid Drivers License
