Field Support Technician

Job Summary
Provide technical support for the operation of district computer systems, including on-site and remote support; assist with network installations and configurations; maintain familiarity with multiple computer environments; prioritize repair tickets and communicate with teachers and staff; diagnose hardware and software problems, replace defective components, and research new technologies; collaborate with Network Engineer and Systems Administrator teams; deliver and set up new equipment; maintain inventory of hardware/software resources; report to Technology Director; adhere to district policies and ensure safety and confidentiality as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Associate's Degree preferred, Field of Study: Information Technology or related field
- Current Arkansas driver's license
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks
- Ability to communicate effectively with teachers and staff
- Experience with configuring and maintaining computer environments
- Knowledge of standard premise wiring practices and safety procedures
