Job Summary
Field Support Technicians provide comprehensive onsite and remote user support, ensuring high-quality solutions and customer satisfaction. They actively manage inventory, diagnose hardware issues, and support AV equipment in fast-paced environments such as video conference rooms. With responsibilities including ticket management, collaboration across teams, and proactive communication about service issues, they facilitate a positive user experience. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, technical support experience, knowledge in various operating systems, and strong interpersonal skills. Candidates must effectively manage inventories and adhere to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training in IT Services
- Strong knowledge in policies and procedures related to requested support activities
- Ability to assist with a variety of basic technical issues
- Proactive in mastering all aspects of service delivery processes
- Time Management: Strong time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Mac OS X, Linux Fundamentals
- Knowledge of hardware (desktop/laptop) deployment methods using image deployment tools
- Excellent written and verbal communications
Additional Requirements
- This role requires weights of 50lbs/22kg to be regularly lifted
- Strong Communication Skills, Written and Verbal English required
