Field Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase sales activity by maintaining accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing market presence. Responsibilities include preparing marketing materials, inspecting properties, drafting roof drawings, creating proposals, conducting project site visits, and addressing installation concerns. This role requires a thorough understanding of roofing standards, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively build customer relationships. The position demands hands-on experience in the roofing industry and proficiency with MS Office and CADD.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role
- Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry
- Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards
- Experience with MS Word and Excel
- Familiarity with CADD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information
- Ability to draft reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, contractors, and architects
