Job Summary
Perform installations, maintain, and repair Core Lab instrumentation on site for designated customers in the Winnipeg area. Conduct detailed site inspections, complete required documentation, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. Offer expert recommendations for instrument environments, ensure equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, and execute technical service bulletins. Collaborate with technical support specialists, lab integration experts, and account managers to resolve issues promptly and drive business growth. Provide back-up support to ensure service continuity while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Install and configure Roche instrumentation, ensuring calibration and testing meet specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma of collegiate studies in electronic technology or community college
- Specialty in Biomedical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting diagnostic instrumentation
- Proven ability to interact and build relationships with individuals at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly customer-focused
- Knowledge of Windows and common Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with IT systems and network infrastructure
- Valid Canadian driver's license
- Availability to work on standby
- Flexibility to travel within North America and Europe
- Must be based in the Winnipeg, Manitoba area
