Job Summary
Field Support Representative in Diagnostics in the Atlanta West and South area, responsible for in-clinic installation and staff training on IDEXX analyzers (e.g., ProCyte, Catalyst One, SediVue, InVue), providing onsite technical troubleshooting during visits, and building strong customer relationships through field-based support and education. Travel up to 75% with 5+ days of car travel per week and 6-8+ overnights per month; when not traveling, work from a home-based office. Emphasizes customer-facing engagement, problem solving, education, and collaboration with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and practice managers to ensure optimal use of diagnostic tools. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, empathy, and a customer-focused mindset; must be comfortable with technology and capable of working across a distributed territory in Georgia with residency in Atlanta West or South and ability to travel within the region.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in a veterinary practice or similar work experience
- Familiarity with IDEXX products
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Residency in the Atlanta West or South area and willingness to travel within this territory and occasionally outside of this territory as needed
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, management, and peers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Planning and prioritization skills
- Comfort learning and using technology (computers, tablets, smartphones)
