Job Summary
Supervise and schedule field and laboratory staff to ensure adequate coverage, efficient resource use, and timely project execution. Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for field/lab procedures, reports, and data integrity in accordance with AET and industry standards. Problem solve with little specifications or direction while conducting field, laboratory, and office activities consistent with federal, state, and local regulations. Complete higher-complexity technical work, write and review data reports, and monitor financial performance according to budget. Coach and mentor employees, participate in root cause investigations, and maintain valid driver's license for required travel within the regional area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction materials testing, environmental consulting, geotechnical fieldwork, or related industry
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must have close vision

Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong understanding of field and laboratory testing standards (e.g., AASHTO, ASTM, DOT)
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-standards environments
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable using project tracking, timekeeping, and reporting software
- ACI, NICET, or state-level technical certifications
