Job Summary
Provide training and leadership to adjusting staff on SCIC programs, initiatives, and customer service techniques. Conduct daily coaching, monitor assigned work, and review approval of time and expenses. Perform all types of claims and inspections, including fieldwork involving dissatisfied customers and problem situations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of inspections and corresponding documentation. Assist with recruitment and selection of adjusting staff, and conduct performance evaluations based on manager recommendations. Participate as a member of the sales team for the annual Crop Insurance program sale. Attend meetings and training sessions to stay updated on corporate and agricultural changes. Maintain a valid driver's license and suitable vehicle to carry out responsibilities throughout the province, including weekends as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- two-year post-secondary diploma in Agriculture or Business Administration
- three years related experience in the agriculture industry
- one year post-secondary certificate specializing in Agriculture
- five years related experience in the agriculture industry
- Working knowledge of emerging trends in agriculture and modern farming practices/crops in Saskatchewan
- ability to identify crop disease, insect damage and other causes of loss
