Job Summary
Field Supervisor for an Underground Utility Locating contract in the Saint Paul, MN area (including Maplewood, Oakdale and Little Canada) who supervises a team of Locators, provides training, ensures route schedules and quality, resolves customer/employee issues, and assists in coordination with Contract/Regional Managers. Role requires supervising experience (bonus), a valid high school level education, and the ability to perform field duties outdoors. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, life and disability insurance, and a company truck with fuel card. Typical hours 7:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include scheduling adherence, efficiency improvements, customer issue resolution, daily reporting, staff input, and participation in hiring and training. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work outdoors and travel to sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years’ experience as a Locator
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office and the ability to retrieve and enter information into a handheld device or computer database
