Job Summary
Create a schedule of facility rounds and check on residents daily. Assist with activities of daily living, ensure vitals are taken, monitor weight changes, and audit medications for delivery accuracy. Observe residents for signs of infection, skin tears, and other condition changes, then report findings to the Administrator. Collect lab specimens, assist with resident discharges by removing files and medications, and monitor caregiver performance. Follow protocols for calling 911 and engage residents in positive social interactions. Maintain clean and organized living spaces. This full-time role requires a 5-day NOC shift and includes health insurance, paid sick leave, mileage reimbursement, deferred profit-sharing, and a 401K.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active CNA Certification
- Criminal background clearance
- Two years of experience
- Reliable transportation
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Pre-employment physical and TB Test
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of state elderly care regulations and procedures
