Field Supervisor - Landscape Operations

Job Summary
Support Crew Leaders and Team Leaders in production, fleet, quality control, and safety initiatives by performing site inspections, managing client communications, and ensuring zero preventable accidents. Operate various types of equipment and machinery, transfer fleet assets between service centers, and organize material pickups for assigned work tickets. Ensure crews meet projected man hour and materials budgets while maintaining proper fuel levels and equipment maintenance schedules. Train crew members in safety policies and job tasks, evaluate performance, and enforce disciplinary actions as necessary. Maintain a professional image for vehicles and staff, complete required accident and inventory forms, and comply with all business ethics and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Able to effectively communicate in the English language
- Drive company vehicles as directed
- Operate various types of equipment and machinery associated with this job description
- Is a journeyman in one or more of the following job sub-categories: Professional landscape maintenance operations, Professional landscape construction services, Landscape repairs, restoration, and remediation, Licensed arbor care and tree trimming services, Landscape irrigation repairs and maintenance
- Able to read and write
- Able to speak, read and write fluently in the English Language
- Have and hold a clean driver's license
- Can pass drug test
- Can pass a criminal background check
- Comply with business ethics, applicable laws, and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Able to work overtime or extended shifts if required by Management
- Ability to work in extreme conditions – working temperatures may exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
