Job Summary
Monitor performance, address daily operations issues, and conduct post inspections to ensure quality standards and proper maintenance at assigned locations. Perform on-the-job training for new employees or those affected by post order changes, and respond to call-offs by identifying replacements or standing post until coverage is restored. Identify personnel problems such as payroll or employee relations concerns, forward them to management, and execute counseling or disciplinary actions as directed. Distribute information to posts, obtain signed acknowledgements, and respond to client or site emergencies by communicating with Operations or the Branch Manager. Requires valid driver's license, three years of security experience, and ability to write effective reports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
- No major violations within last 36 months
- No more than one at-fault accident in last 24 months
- No more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months
- No combination of one at-fault accident and one minor moving violation in last 24 months
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional protective service (e.g., security) experience
- Ability to write effective and concise reports in legible handwriting
- Able to use good independent judgment and discretion
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including clients
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in scheduling, operations management, or other leadership functions of security industry
- Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, and/or military
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
