Job Summary
Monitor field staff performance to ensure adherence to insurance and state regulations while conducting supervisory visits to client homes. Perform client admissions timely and accurately, soliciting necessary information to support agency admissions per PSSA regulations. Schedule admissions and supervisory visits the day prior, reporting negative comments or concerns discovered during home visits to upper management. Assist in the investigation of critical incidents, provide disciplinary action to field employees as directed, and cover shifts when needed. Submit records, reports, and paperwork neatly and legibly within required timelines, including competency evaluations for field staff. Maintain confidentiality of client and personnel information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and federal, state, and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the framework, organization and function of the Personal Support Services program
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the principles and methods involved in supervising field staff
- Must be capable of performing job duties physically, mentally, and independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well work independently and in groups
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must have mental ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making, including while driving and while in client homes
- Ability to walk independently up and down a normal flight of 13-15 stairs
- The work will require some lifting, pulling, bending, pushing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and carrying of light and heavy items, such as books, papers, files and/or office supplies, often at least 20 lbs. weight
- There will be short to long periods of transferring, standing and sitting
- Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed
