Job Summary
Monitor field staff performance to ensure adherence to insurance and state regulations while performing client admissions and supervisory visits to homes. Schedule these visits and conduct competency evaluations within 30 days of employment and annually thereafter. Assist in staff education, orientation, and disciplinary actions as directed by upper management. Submit records, reports, and documentation timely, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Maintain confidentiality of client and personnel information. Willingness to travel occasionally and cover shifts is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the framework, organization and function of the Personal Support Services program
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the principles and methods involved in supervising field staff
- Must be capable of performing job duties physically, mentally, and independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well work independently and in groups
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- The work requires the ability to safely transport oneself to and from multiple client homes and work sites on a regular, daily basis in a multi-county area
- Must have mental ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making, including while driving and while in client homes
- Ability to walk independently up and down a normal flight of 13-15 stairs
- Must be able to safely lift, pull, bend, push, stoop, kneel, reach, and carry light and heavy items, such as books, papers, files and/or office supplies, often at least 20 lbs weight
- Must be available for short to long periods of transferring, standing and sitting
- Must be willing to travel occasionally, as needed
