Job Summary
Lead field operations for Frontier Field Operations across multiple markets in California. Drive service delivery by supervising field technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and training standards are met. Manage staffing resources, enforce policies, determine training needs, and cultivate an “Always Be Coachable” culture. Responsible for conducting and reporting numerous weekly inspections, delivering post-onboarding training, and presenting safety/quality topics at tailgate meetings. Requires strong leadership, telecommunications knowledge (Copper/Fiber I&R preferred), and ability to travel frequently within the region to support operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing teams within a telecom technical environment
- strong skills in employee development including training, coaching, and mentoring
- computer skills including Excel, email, Word, and legacy systems
- working knowledge of installation and maintenance of residential and business services, Local Network processes, and understanding of Frontier services/products (preferred)
- working knowledge of splicing and construction processes for the telecommunications industry
- working knowledge of contractor relations
- ability to work in a consultative manner with others, including interviewing, fact-finding, presenting options, recommending solutions, and customer-focused behavior
- previous experience in multi-tasking and deadline-driven environments
- college level education; experience may be used in lieu of education
- valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
