Job Summary
The Field Supervisor (Coping) leads the execution of coping, flashing, and cladding installations across multiple construction projects. Key responsibilities include supervising installation crews, coordinating labour and materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and company standards, monitoring site productivity, and enforcing safety policies. Candidates must have substantial experience in construction and strong leadership abilities, alongside technical skills such as reading construction drawings and coordinating site logistics. Success in this role is measured by the ability to deliver high-quality work aligned with project schedules, maintain safety, and ensure effective communication across all teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction, cladding, sheet metal, or building envelope systems
- 2+ years of experience supervising installation crews or field operations
- Strong knowledge of coping, flashing, cladding, and sheet metal systems
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Experience performing material takeoffs, estimating support, and pricing adjustments
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and labour coordination
- Experience coordinating fabrication, material procurement, and site logistics
- Familiarity with Ontario construction practices, safety standards, and site requirements
