Job Summary
Oversee assigned accounts in the Syracuse region by conducting monthly route rides, developing sales execution plans, and making direct sales calls to build relationships and capture opportunities. Supervise field personnel through performance evaluations, on-going training, and corrective action documentation while ensuring inventory alignment and competitive monitoring. Maintain professional appearance standards and adhere to company policies in the field.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Secondary education preferred
- At least three years of related sales or retail grocery experience and/or training
- One year of previous supervisory or management experience
- Valid driver's license with a good record
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to regularly talk or hear
- Ability to frequently stand
- Ability to frequently walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to occasionally climb or balance
- Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Ability to move up to 250 pounds
