Job Summary
Field Supervisor responsible for directing field crews in traffic-control operations, maintaining safety, quality, training, and employee engagement. You’ll support the Area and General Managers, coach a team of protectors, conduct field and vehicle inspections, participate in pre-bid activities, and develop relationships with clients to pursue new business opportunities. The role is 80% in the field and 20% in the office, requires ATSSA and state-specific certifications, and involves heavy hands-on leadership, safety enforcement, and operational oversight in construction environments. 50-hour typical workweeks, with potential for travel to field sites; benefits include 401(k), multiple health plans, life insurance, PTO, holidays, and company vehicle/Gas Card. Compensation ranges from $55K-$70K base plus a 7% annual incentive bonus and company vehicle benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required; 4-year degree preferred but not required
- 1-2 years of supervisor experience and ability to manage 20+ staff
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Intermediate MS Office and CRM systems familiarity
- Must adhere to safe workplace practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding field work in varied conditions
