Job Summary
Plan, direct, and oversee all field operations for marine construction projects, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Enforce site-specific safety programs, conduct pre-shift toolbox talks, and coordinate daily activities for crews, subcontractors, and equipment. Manage manpower, materials, and vessel mobilization while monitoring productivity and communicating schedule impacts to project management. Review drawings and specifications, document differing site conditions, and submit accurate daily field reports. Maintain compliance with OSHA, USACE, and USCG standards while ensuring quality workmanship meets contract specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of field experience in marine construction, commercial diving, or heavy civil/waterfront construction
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or lead field role managing crews of 5 or more personnel
- Working knowledge of marine construction methods and OSHA, EM 385-1-1, USCG, and NAVFAC standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and dive plans
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain required federal installation access credentials
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in remote, marine, and field environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Position-specific licensing, certification, or security requirements permitted by law
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Experience on NAVFAC, USACE, or USCG federally contracted projects
- Rigging and crane signalperson certification (ASME B30 or equivalent)
- First Aid / CPR / AED / Oxygen Provider certification
