Job Summary
The Field Superintendent oversees construction field installation activities, focusing on labor productivity, quality, timely installations, and employee morale while ensuring jobsite safety. Responsibilities include managing subordinate supervisors, conducting interviews, hiring, training, and evaluating employees, and promoting team building. The role demands coordinating multiple projects, utilizing technical skills to guide field crews, and monitoring labor productivity to meet budget goals. Familiarity with software tools like Stratus and Procore is essential, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to evaluate and recommend solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to develop and coach employees
- Experience with Stratus, ACC, Bluebeam, Procore, Egnyte, Navisworks
- In-depth knowledge of Mechanical/Plumbing systems installation
