Job Summary
Oversee site supervisors across multiple active projects, attend scope and budget handovers, and track labor market trends for cost input. Remove or escalate roadblocks affecting manpower, equipment, productivity, safety, quality, and schedule while sourcing and allocating resources based on project priorities. Monitor field performance, coach supervisors on corrective actions, and ensure daily planning, reporting, and safety standards are followed consistently. Resolve internal and external conflicts involving crews, contractors, and suppliers. Report field risks, gaps, and resource needs to the Construction Manager. Mentor field personnel and strengthen leadership through collaboration with Safety and Training teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction
- leadership experience as a Site Supervisor, Superintendent, or similar field leadership role
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, manpower planning, productivity, safety, quality control, and site coordination
- Proven ability to lead and support multiple job sites while effectively managing competing priorities
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- ability to hold teams accountable
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Site Supervisors, Foremen, Lead Hands, and field personnel
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- ability to proactively identify and remove operational roadblocks
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with construction management software
