Job Summary
Supervise field crews, operators, teamsters, and subcontractors on soil stabilization projects to ensure safe, efficient execution according to engineering specifications. Manage daily work schedules, equipment assignments, and material usage while monitoring quality and compliance with project plans and safety standards. Coordinate with logistics teams for timely equipment delivery and communicate daily progress, challenges, and updates to the Project Manager. Enforce OSHA regulations, conduct pre-task planning and safety briefings, and mentor crew members on equipment operation and best practices. Maintain accurate daily reports on crew performance, equipment usage, and material consumption to support billing and QA/QC requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of field supervisory experience in construction, civil engineering, or soil stabilization projects
- Knowledge of soil stabilization equipment, materials, and field processes
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Understanding of OSHA and construction safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk, climb, and navigate uneven or rough terrain
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, operate machinery, and inspect equipment
