Job Summary
Supervise field crews, operators, teamsters, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution on soil stabilization sites. Manage daily work schedules, equipment assignments, and material usage while monitoring quality against engineering specifications and safety standards. Implement project plans, coordinate with logistics teams for equipment and material delivery, and communicate daily progress to the Project Manager. Enforce OSHA regulations, conduct pre-task planning and hazard analyses, and mentor crew members on safety and equipment operation. Maintain accurate daily reports on crew performance, equipment usage, and project progress to support billing and QA/QC requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of field supervisory experience in construction, civil engineering, or soil stabilization projects
- Knowledge of soil stabilization equipment, materials, and field processes
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Understanding of OSHA and construction safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk, climb, and navigate uneven or rough terrain
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, operate machinery, and inspect equipment
