Job Summary
Supervise field crews, operators, teamsters, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient project execution on soil stabilization sites. Manage daily work schedules, equipment assignments, and material usage while monitoring quality against engineering specifications. Coordinate with logistics teams for timely deliveries and communicate progress, challenges, and updates to the Project Manager. Enforce OSHA regulations through pre-task planning, hazard analyses, and safety briefings. Maintain accurate daily reports on crew performance and equipment usage to support billing and QA/QC. Mentor new hires on safety and equipment operation while troubleshooting operational issues. Requires 5+ years of field supervisory experience; works outdoors in varying conditions with physical demands including lifting 50 lbs and navigating rough terrain.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of field supervisory experience in construction, civil engineering, or soil stabilization projects
- Knowledge of soil stabilization equipment, materials, and field processes
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Understanding of OSHA and construction safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk, climb, and navigate uneven or rough terrain
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, operate machinery, and inspect equipment
