Job Summary
Supervise field crews, operators, teamsters, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution on soil stabilization sites. Manage daily work schedules, equipment assignments, and material usage while monitoring work quality against engineering specifications and safety standards. Implement the project plan, coordinate with logistics teams for equipment and material delivery, and communicate daily progress and challenges to the Project Manager. Enforce all safety policies, conduct pre-task planning and hazard analyses, and maintain accurate daily reports on crew performance and project status. Mentor crew members on safety, equipment operation, and soil stabilization best practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of field supervisory experience in construction, civil engineering, or soil stabilization projects
- Knowledge of soil stabilization equipment, materials, and field processes
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Understanding of OSHA and construction safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk, climb, and navigate uneven or rough terrain
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, operate machinery, and inspect equipment
