Job Summary
Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities for foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete lifting projects. Manage and coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow, while monitoring schedules and adjusting resources to meet deadlines. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards, conduct quality inspections, and lead safety meetings to promote a safety-first culture. Oversee logistics including equipment and materials, mentor field staff, and investigate incidents to implement corrective measures. Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in foundation repair, concrete lifting, or related groundwork
- Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them effectively
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to uphold Groundworks' standards of professionalism and customer service
- Ability to sit for extended periods, use fine motor skills for tasks like typing and document handling, good vision for reading and reviewing documents, and clear communication abilities for in-person and phone interactions with employees
- Minimal physical exertion beyond basic mobility around the office environment, or travel to different locations by car or through airports and flights
