Field Superintendent (Electrical, Themed Entertainment Development)

Job Summary
Manage construction efforts on high-profile projects by performing constructibility analysis, value engineering recommendations, and pre-construction input. Monitor construction, schedule, and quality control while leading the safety program in coordination with the Safety Department. Review and approve contract applications for payment, manage submittal and shop drawing processes, and coordinate with governmental, utility, and client departments. Lead personnel management of direct reports, including performance reviews and talent development, and facilitate mock-up production for approval. This role supports AOA's mission to create memorable, purpose-driven destinations across diverse industries, from hospitals to themed entertainment attractions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of job-related experience in electrical construction
- Proven experience managing the construction process and documentation (shop drawings, document control, punch lists)
- Ability to lead project teams
- Experience with and proven understanding of scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and quality control
- Ability to manage through conflict and complexity and to problem-solve issues to resolution
- Extensive experience in electrical systems
- Experience in the contract administration process (contracts, professional fees)
- Ability to understand the needs of the client and to manage relationships between the owner/operator
- Computer literacy (Word, Bluebeam, Excel, E-Mail)
- Ability to comfortably communicate, both verbally in presentation and conversation, and written in correspondence to project team, vendors, consultants, and partners
- Ability to give direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment
- Supervisory experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- Electrical license or certifications
- Monday – Saturday
