Job Summary
Coordinate installation and new construction of loading docks and commercial door equipment by planning, organizing, and directing activities for material handling projects. Conduct site-walks, surveys, and measurements to prepare installations, while managing general contractors and vendors for quality control. Complete punch lists, manage work orders, and handle truck loading/unloading as needed. Perform hazard assessments, maintain safe work practices, and operate material handling equipment like forklifts and scissor lifts. Read blueprints and follow OSHA rules and company policies. Work with Sales and Service teams, attend job-site meetings, and complete necessary training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the Dock & Door Industry, 3 years minimum
- Working knowledge of being on construction sites within our industry
- Experience with construction site conditions and activities
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven, service environment
- Knowledge of OSHA rules
- Must have schedule flexibility, as services may be performed during evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Ability to work overtime
- Must have a valid state issued Driver's License with a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving record acceptable to insurance carrier
- Must be able to pass a standard Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check
- Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, schematics
- Able to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other material handling equipment
- Must have a valid state issued Driver's License with a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving record acceptable to insurance carrier

Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification, highly preferred
- Technical school training and OEM certification a plus. Examples of training would include: AAADM; Rytec; Entrematic; etc.
