Job Summary
Plan and deliver nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to ensure quality and dignity for senior residents. Drive to patient homes in the West Los Angeles area while aiding families in a hospice care setting. Maintain proficiency with electronic medical equipment and apply knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations. Requires an unencumbered LVN license, own vehicle with current driver's license and insurance, and on-call availability. Pay rate is $40 per visit. Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved LVN program
- Unencumbered license to practice as an LVN
- Proficiency with electronic medical equipment
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines that pertain to home health
- Experience in home health setting
- Willing and able to use your own vehicle to drive to patient's homes
- Current driver's license and proof of insurance
- On call availability
