Job Summary
Operate and maintain liner hanger equipment in the field while providing onsite support to customers during ongoing operations. Assist in testing and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum performance, then deliver daily reports on field activities. Work hand in hand with the onshore operations team to execute operations per plan and recommend measures that improve efficiency and quality. Perform basic troubleshooting, support onshore maintenance activities, and adhere to all safety rules and company policies. Maintain 24-hour call status and complete job reports accurately and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7+ years liner hanger systems experience
- High School diploma
- Good knowledge of oilfield equipment
- Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs
- Valid Driver license
- Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently when required
- Strong team player who collaborates closely with colleagues
- Effective teamwork
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to be on-call 24/7
- Must have the ability to grasp and adapt to changing work environment and conditions
- Must be able to perform basic problem solving and troubleshooting when needed
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
