Job Summary
Field Source Testing Technician at AGAT Laboratories. Responsibilities include becoming familiar with ASSC and CEMS Code, equipment maintenance and repair, job planning and preparation, ordering spare parts and materials, managing time based on daily schedule, loading and unloading equipment, maintaining AGAT vehicle, and maintaining safety tickets and personal paperwork. Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, willingness to travel across Western Canada, ability to work beyond 8 hours per day, capability to work outside in all weather conditions, physical fitness for lifting (up to 50 lbs in shift and up to heights of 150 feet), and aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and chemical areas. Works in a shop and field environment with PPE requirements and potential extensive travel; includes benefits and equal opportunity employer commitments.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license with proof of a good driving history
- Willing to travel throughout Western Canada
- Up to date field safety tickets
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Solid physical fitness and some heavy lifting
- Ability to climb and work at heights up to 150 feet
- Some mechanical, electrical, and chemical aptitude
