Job Summary
Field/Shop Technician/Diesel Mechanic responsible for repairing construction machines and components in both shop and field settings. Develop repair plans and sequences, determine necessary parts and tooling, perform safe and quality repairs with QA testing, maintain and file timely reports for parts ordering, tool usage, and work orders, and communicate repair progress to the supervisor. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas per company policies and safety guidelines; operate service vehicles and utilize the parts ordering system. Includes up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires relevant technical education or apprenticeship experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four (4) Years of apprenticeship experience
