Job Summary
Install and activate residential and commercial internet, voice, and video services, including fiber and copper broadband connections, from the exterior network interface to customer premises equipment. Route and secure cabling, mount network devices, and configure routers and Wi-Fi systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot connectivity issues, verify signal levels, and educate customers on equipment operation while documenting all activities in field service applications. Operate company vehicles safely, maintain clean work areas, and represent the firm professionally during interactions with homeowners and business clients. Participate in on-call rotations and travel assignments as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in customer homes and business environments while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and basic power tools
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to use Microsoft 365 applications and mobile field service apps
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders and work safely at heights
- Must be able to work in confined spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, and equipment areas
- Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and stand frequently
- Must be available for flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
- Must be able to travel extensively between service locations
- Must be able to perform multi-day travel assignments
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to participate in on-call rotations

Desired Qualifications
- Experience installing residential or commercial internet, cable, or telecommunications services
- Familiarity with fiber drops, ONTs, routers, Wi-Fi systems, and voice/video equipment
- Experience with in-home or business low-voltage or structured cabling
- Customer-facing field service experience
