Job Summary
Field Services Technician responsible for on-site service at customer locations including maintenance, inspection, and testing of heavy equipment (telehandler, forklift, hydraulic machines). Must be proficient in all MIS Offshore service lines, comply with customer safety trainings, and maintain active TWIC and Port Pass credentials (Passport may be required). Tasks include filing accurate reports, performing light repairs, maintaining rental equipment and laydown yard, ensuring proper waste disposal per HSE policies, and clocking in/out per timekeeping standards. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are needed to learn and operate specific systems; education includes high school diploma or equivalent with technical/vocational certification preferred; 2-4 years of related rigging experience is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Technical or Vocational certificate preferred
- 2 to 4 years working in an adjacent field with rigging
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Some computer skills and ability to learn specific systems
