Job Summary
Field Services Technician with CTS delivering hands-on, on-site and remote IT support for mission-driven organizations. Face of CTS within the Service Delivery team, responsible for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstation, server, and cloud applications; manages service requests via ConnectWise; adheres to SLAs; documents work in IT Glue and ticketing systems; tracks time and coordinates with internal teams, vendors, and client contacts; travels daily to the assigned territory (Staten Island) for field support; requires strong networking skills (TCP/IP, VPN, IPSEC, QoS, WAN/LAN, Meraki/UniFi/Cisco), Windows Server/Desktop and Apple ecosystems, PBX systems (Grandstream/Asterisk), mobile and collaboration tools (Android, iOS, G Suite, Office365); excellent communication and ability to articulate problems and remedies, plus SOP improvement where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing, technical-services environment
- Experience with networking protocols: TCP/IP, VPN, IPSEC, VoIP, and QoS
- Experience in WAN/LAN networking, including routing, switching, security, and load balancing
- Experience in WLAN technologies including, but not limited to, Meraki, UniFi, and Cisco
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Apple Ecosystem
- Experience with Grand Stream or other Asterisk-based PBX systems
- Experience with Android, iOS, Gsuite, and Office365
- Self-motivated, with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle and adapt to changing priorities and special projects in a high growth environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
