Job Summary
Supervise and perform environmental field service projects from commencement to completion, overseeing job site safety and field technicians while managing profitability of assignments. Conduct sample collection and monitoring, including confirmation and air sampling, and oversee decontamination of laboratories and manufacturing spaces. Participate on emergency response teams, coordinate HAZMAT spill response on a 24/7 rotational basis, and manage confined space entries and underground storage tanks. Travel 30%-50% of the time to support field projects and provide job scope details to the sales team. Report to designated office within one hour during emergency rotating shifts and work flexible hours Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Prior relevant industry experience
- Ability and willing to travel to support of Field Service projects
- Experienced and trained in Confined Space Entry
- SCBA training and experience
- Ability to manage HAZMAT spill response coordination on a 24/7 rotational basis
- Hazardous materials handling experience
- Experience with the decontamination of biological and chemical spaces
- Inventory tracking, maintenance, scheduling and project management experience
- Experience with oversight and maintenance of industrial pumps, vacuum trucks, roll-offs
- OSHA 30-hour training
- Firm understanding of RCRA, DOT, CALRCRA, and regulations pertaining to hazardous waste and materials
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
- Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) ability to operate roll offs and vacuum trucks
- BSC decontamination experience
