Field Services Lead Technologist

Job Summary
Provide high-level technical support to identify, prevent, and resolve service interruptions related to plant systems and operations. Install and troubleshoot computers, printers, routers, switches, wireless devices, and other network hardware. Consult with users to determine software, hardware, and network utilization, then liaise with corporate resources to enhance technical offerings. Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications, including application servers, endpoints, and databases. Manage system setup and configuration while ensuring corporate standards are followed. Deliver on-call, after-hours, and vacation coverage for Field Tech support. Identify and resolve potential issues impacting end-user experience and recommend policies to maximize resource utilization. Perform related duties as assigned, including business travel with some overnight requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational training or equivalent experience
- Associate degree
- 4+ years of related experience
- Candidate must be located within the St Louis, MO area
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient with a broad array of networking and systems hardware and software
- Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and general IT best practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical staff
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Business travel is required, including some overnight
