Job Summary
The Field Services Health & Safety Engineer will be responsible for supporting and supervising safety oversight for regional roofing and weatherproofing employees. Key duties include conducting safety audits, enforcing compliance with safety regulations, assisting in the development of site-specific safety programs, educating the workforce on safety culture, participating in incident investigations, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent construction experience, OSHA certifications, and strong communication skills, alongside proficiency in safety management and regulatory knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or 5+ Years of Construction experience with high school diploma
- Minimum of two years of construction safety field experience
- OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification
- Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations
- Working knowledge on how to develop, implement, and audit a Daily Task Analysis for Employees and Subcontractors
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
