Job Summary
Operate vacuum trucks and straight trucks to collect hazardous and non-hazardous waste at customer sites, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement. Load and unload trucks, label containers, sort waste streams, and complete hazardous waste manifests and DOT documentation at each stop. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and inspect equipment before daily trips, adhering to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards. Respond to emergency spills as needed and submit completed paperwork. Requires Class B CDL with Hazmat, air brake, and tanker endorsements, plus 1+ years of related driving experience. Guaranteed 40-hour schedule with overtime; expect approximately two overnight trips per month.
