Job Summary
Conduct Testing & Commissioning, Preventive Maintenance, and Time & Material activities for AC UPS and DC Rectifier products as assigned. Respond promptly to emergency service calls while maintaining 24x7 standby duty, ensuring availability for weekend, holiday, and after-hours support. Collaborate with technical support teams and vendors on field troubleshooting, author Method of Statements and Risk Assessments, and manage job debriefings and OKR monitoring. Adhere strictly to Vertiv and client OH&S requirements, utilizing appropriate PPE and calibrated instruments. Support team planning and scheduling while maintaining professional client relationships through prompt complaint reporting and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years field experience with power products like UPS, DC Rectifier, PDU, STS and batteries preferably in data center environment
- Good technical knowledge in data center/M&E/critical environment
- Good understanding in operations management
- Customer centric with high level of commitment to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and demands
