Job Summary
Field Service Engineer role focusing on startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs of UPS systems, batteries, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating projects, maintaining accurate customer listings, achieving a minimum 90% maintenance completion rate, and traveling to customer sites with after-hours and weekend shifts. Requires electrical/electronic engineering background, field-service experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and a valid driving license. Proficiency with office software and the ability to work under pressure are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Previous field service experience essential
- Experience in a technical service or test environment of Electrical/Electronic equipment essential UPS preferred or associated industries i.e. Power Electronics
- Computer Literate (Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively
- Clean, Valid driving license
