Field Service Truck Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct field service calls and repairs on client work trucks and equipment across Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Nevada, and Idaho. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems while adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety policies. Maintain the field service vehicle, order parts, and complete daily reports, inspections, and timecards. Work out of town, overtime, and weekends as necessary, utilizing TRACK for all job aspects. Obtain required certifications such as MSHA, CDL, and crane inspector credentials. Deliver a world-class customer experience by taking ownership of client problems and providing solutions with strong communication skills.

- Must understand and adhere to the personal responsibility of safety and work safely at all times
- Adhere to all company safety programs and policies and enhance the safety culture of the company
- Must comply with all DOT regulations
- Willing to work out of town, overtime and at weekends if necessary
- Must have and maintain a clean MVR (no more than 1 moving violation under the age of 25, and no more than 2 if over the age of 25)
- Must be safety conscious with an excellent safety record
- Must use TRACK in all aspects of every job
- Strong working knowledge of truck equipment: hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics
- Willingness to learn troubleshooting skills from other journeyman mechanics and utilize tech support as necessary
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic with self-motivation, ability to work safely with minimal supervision on customer job sites, while maintaining expectations of thoroughness
- Have a positive team-first attitude
- Must have or be able to obtain all tools required for field service repair
- Must be willing and able to work overtime, and possibly weekends if necessary
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within work truck industry, automotive, and/or truck equipment upfit, service and repairs
- Experience with field service and in-shop service operations
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs
- Current MSHA certification
- Associate degree or Technical Degree in automotive or diesel mechanics
