Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites across North America, providing remote telephone and online support. Prepare service reports, warranty documentation, and expense reports while documenting machine data in Salesforce CRM. Follow up on open issues to ensure resolution, escalate complex technical problems, and inspect returned parts for warranty claims. Train customers on equipment and software usage, both on-site and remotely, while supporting trade shows and demonstrations. Requires flexible hours including overnight travel up to 80%.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities
- Critical thinking and real-time problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, reliable, honest, and capable of working independently under guidance
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including overnight travel up to 80%
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school education
- One year of field service experience in a related industry
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM system
