Job Summary
Field Service Technician role responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, servicing, and calibrating high-tech machines at customer locations. Requires hands-on electronics/industrial mechanics know-how, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and strong customer service. Travel is 100% within the United States with potential international travel as needed. The role may involve supporting R&D with engineering work related to design, build, and system testing, as well as assisting in system production during assembly and setup. Must demonstrate mechanical/electronic aptitude, learn new skills on high-tech CMMs, complete administrative paperwork accurately, and lift up to 75 pounds. Preferred experience in installing/troubleshooting industrial electronics or computer systems and prior CMM installation is a plus. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent
- AS/BS in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics or equivalent training/experience (Military Technical School) OR 4 years related experience
- Prior experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment
- Microsoft Windows operating system knowledge
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted
- Willingness to work minimum of 50 hours per week (Regular + OT)
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude
