Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites within the Allentown, PA region. Conduct hands-on work with high-tech CMMs using mechanical and electronic aptitude while documenting service records and maintaining accurate logs. Travel 70-90% of the time to diverse locations, working independently to represent the company. Complete a comprehensive three-month in-field and classroom training program before beginning duties. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 75 pounds, and minimum 50-hour weekly commitment including overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum, High School graduate, completed GED or equivalent
- Tech School, associate, or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as, Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, and the like
- Training and experience from a Military Technical School
- Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment
- Microsoft operating system knowledge
- Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 75 pounds
- Able and willing to work minimum of 50 hours per work week
- Regular + OT
- Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment
- Valid Driver License
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems
- Previous CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) installation and troubleshooting experience
