Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex biomedical equipment at customer facilities while performing performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and calibration. Install systems, verify performance, and inform supervisors of repair status or unusual equipment situations. Act as a technical advisor to clinicians and administrative staff, educating them on safe equipment use, maintenance schedules, and regulatory expectations. Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and facility teams to ensure safety, compliance, and uptime. Maintain accurate equipment databases and service documentation, adhering to the Medical Equipment Management Plan and all regulatory agency compliances. Proactively identify risks and recommend corrective actions while protecting company assets and tools. Lead Service Operations Special Projects as assigned and contribute process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- US Permanent Residency
- Travel with this position can take you across the region and you must be able to accommodate that
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar Biomedical Technician position working across many different types of equipment
- Valid driver's license and ability to visit multiple customer sites as part of the daily role
