Job Summary
Full-time traveling field service technician responsible for repairs and maintenance on shooting-range equipment at customer sites across the Western US, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting (high voltage and 3-phase systems), electronics, networking, and strong customer service. Role requires travel Monday to Friday (and sometimes Saturday), ability to pass background clearance checks for access to secure installations, and possession of a valid passport. Preference given to candidates living in Las Vegas, NV, or within 1 hour of a major airport.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass background clearance checks for access to secure federal and military installations
- Must be able to secure a passport
- Experience with electricity including high voltage and 3-phase
- Must live within 1 hour of a major airport
- Must have a basic understanding of networking principles and hardware
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with electronics concepts and components
- Very strong skills in customer service, relationship building, and interpersonal communication
- Computer skills including word processing, basic networking, and communication port configuration
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy loads up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work in narrow spaces and on ladders
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision
- Valid driver's license
- Travel availability: leave Monday and not return home until Friday (and sometimes Saturday) across multiple facilities
