Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for on-site fuel cell equipment servicing at Bloom Energy's Vineland, NJ field office. Responsibilities include performing fuel cell service, safely operating service vehicles, creating daily work workflows, conducting on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, following procedures, documenting service reports, collaborating with technical teams, managing spare parts, and supporting on-call/shift-work requirements. Must conduct 40% travel, read electrical diagrams/blueprints, and adhere to ANSI/NETA electrical standards. Requires strong electrical troubleshooting, knowledge of three-phase systems, UPS, power electronics, ATS, microprocessor-based control platforms, and compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70E safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and 6 years’ experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields OR Technical diploma, Journeymen Certification, Electrician Certification in a technical field, and relevant industry experience of 4 years OR 5+ years relevant experience in commercial electrical with military electrical experience
