Job Summary
Field Service Technician to service Caterpillar equipment on customer sites across Eastern Canada. Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment, maintain high-quality workmanship, and ensure repairs are completed in a timely and safe manner. Requires on-site visits, strong communication with customers, 3+ years in heavy equipment repair, post-secondary education in a related field, and a valid driver’s license (DZ preferred); 421A license is noted as current. Required Qualifications
- Completed post secondary education in a field related to heavy duty, heavy engine or heavy vehicle mechanics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of mining heavy equipment (ideally underground mining equipment)
- Currently 421A licensed
- Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS) an asset
- A valid Driver’s License (DZ License preferred)
